La Mesa Farmers’ Market

lamesa150The La Mesa Village Certified Farmers’ Market takes place every Friday from  3 – 6pm on the 8300 block of Allison Avenue (map).

While the heart of the market is set in a parking lot and organized into a long isle with vendors on both sides, there is a second section that snakes eastward down the sidewalk and loops around the corner.   The body of the market is where you will find most of the produce, while the long tail contains mostly flowers, crafts, and small businesses like Avon and Tupperware.  Tucked behind a bend in the road and some thick foliage, it is easy to miss the second section entirely.

Parking is available in a small lot or on the street.
